National Advisory Board

The National Advisory Board provides valuable inputs, suggestions and recommendations for the empowerment of SMEs, accomplish the objectives of the Federation of Indian SME Associations and its initiatives. The Board is also providing exemplary guidance by organizing various activities leading to enhancement of knowledge & skill of SMEs, Start-Ups, Young and Women Entrepreneurs for sustainable business growth in the future.

This Board has been also reviewing various issues, logjams, trends, difficulties related to policies, schemes, incentives, acts & regulations which hinders the progress of the SME sector. The Board will recommend to various Departments. Agencies, Union Ministries, State Governments, Regulatory Bodies, Government PSUs, Corporations, Financial Institutions, Rating Agencies, State’s Industrial Development Corporations and other Stakeholders to amend their Policy, Advanced Implementation of strategies for strengthening & building confidence amongst the SME sector as well as prepare a level playing field to enable them to compete in both Local & Global Markets. The members of the Board would also act as Mentors and Philosophers to bring a sea change in the Federation and its member’s activities for the benefit of the MSME Sector.

The Board will also advise on how to explore emerging business opportunities for SMEs, related to export market, joint ventures, technology transfers, contract manufacturing, exploring tie-ups, distributorship, franchise, channelizing adequate & affordable bank finance, trade finance, foreign investment, international collaborations, procurement & supply to large corporate, Government PSUs, listing in SME Stock Exchange, supporting first time Entrepreneur, empowerment of Women Entrepreneurs, supporting executive educational program for skill & scale development and various other activities & programs for the growth of SMEs.

The members of Board will periodically interact with Ministers, Government Officials, Heads of Regulatory Bodies, Heads of Government Agencies, Diplomats, Senior Executives of Corporate, MNCs, Financial Institutions, International Organizations, Rating Agencies, Media, Technocrats, Experts, inventors, scientists, business tycoons and other appropriate authorities.
